Club Conflict Online Gaming League has been in operation since 2002 and since then, has been the exclusive home to thousands of online gamers for an intense, competitive online gaming experience. Throughout the years, Club Conflict has hosted over 10 seasons of competitive Counter-Strike and Counter-Strike:Source play along with a single season of Medal of Honor:Allied Assault, other online tournaments and LAN parties.
This section of the Web site will be used as a place for CC Staff and members to reflect on the past, read about past champions and eventually share stories and experiences about Club Conflict gaming.

|PLA| started the match as CT because {US}G$ was the underdog and chose T to begin. The match started very slow as {US}G$ took a page out of the |PLA| strat book and delayed any attack. They may have caught |PLA| off guard a bit by using this strategy. {US}G$ is typically a hard rushing team but seemed to change their strategy for this final match. It payed dividends for {US}G$ as they crawled out to a 6-0 lead as T. As the later rounds of the first half went on, |PLA| gained some ground and managed to win a few key rounds. The half ended with {US}G$ winning 10-5.
As the second round begins, {US}G$ (and I know because I was there) was feeling very confident about their chances to pull off the upset. |PLA| seemed to have their own confidence level as they returned the favor to {US}G$ and pulled off the first 6 rounds as T in the second half. At this point, it was do or die for {US}G$. They needed 5 of the next 9 rounds for the tie and 6 of the next 9 rounds for the win. Somehow, {US}G$ pulled it together and won 4 of the next 8 rounds and it all came down to the last round of the match.
LAST ROUND OF REGULATION
In the last round of regulation, |PLA| planted at the large site and had 3 members alive while 2 members of {US}G$ desperately tried to get to the bomb site, kill the remaining T's and defuse. A tall order. {US}Virus got to two of them before being disposed of. This leaves one {US} and one |PLA| alive and the bomb ticking away. {US}Jacko managed to pull it off by offing the remaining |PLA| member and then defusing the bomb to send the match into overtime. What a finish!
OT 1 CT (3-2)
T (2-3)
Overtime #1 was more of the same. This time though, |PLA| shut down the earlier successes of the {US}G$ rush to site B by using some great grenade (fb and he) strategies to stop their advances. |PLA| put the pressure on {US}G$ by pulling off 2 rounds of 5 in the OT period!
The second half of OT was again do or die time for {US}G$. Their backs were against the wall and they knew they needed some big rounds as CT. To force another OT they had to win 2 rounds out of 5. In regulation, neither team had won any of the first 6 rounds as CT so this was indeed a huge challenge. Again, {US}G$ was able to pull it together and pull off 2 wins as CT forcing a second overtime.
OT 2 CT (4-1)
T (2-0)
With the match length stretching on and on (over 1:15 at this point) both {US}G$ and |PLA| seemed determined to end it here.
In the first round of the first half of the second OT (confused yet?), {US}G$ rushed to the large site and planted quickly, in the meantime they had managed to extinguish 4 of the 5 |PLA|members. It was now 4 v 1 and the bomb was planted. The rest is history. As the bomb ticked away, all |PLA| needed was their remaining member |PLA|Jimmy. The captain took the match on his shoulders at this point and launched his own "shock and awe" campaign against {US}G$. He was somehow able to take care of the 4 remaining {US}G$ members and defuse to win the first round as CT!!! If you don't believe it (G$, yes this did actually happen) check the demo.
As one would imagine, this huge round 1 win catapaulted the |PLA| team to victory. They capitalized on the opportunity given to them by their team captain and took the first half of OT #2 4-1 as CT.
|PLA| went on to win the first 2 rounds as T and ended the marathon of a final match. Great season to both teams. This is definitely one for the recorbooks.

The Finals Match took place Wednesday night September 19, 2007 at 9PM EST. The match was played on our "Art of War Central" sponsored Match Server #1.
There were 23 Spectators at the height of the match. One comment by a spectator was "This is the match we all joined for." The action was fantastic!

8/25/2009 - A brand new website was launched. Three weeks of preseason were played prior to the beginning of Season 11. New Staff members were brought onboard including {US}Stonehenge, {US}Lydie, {US}Bob_O, {US}Rocco, {US}Moosen_Assassin, and {US}Troezen. We began staffing the Club Conflict Steam Community chat room on league match nights as well. Twelve teams began Season 11. The Cyberathlete Amateur League (CAL) disbanded earlier in the year, leaving thousands of gamers without any league to play in. One of the immediate results was our defending Champs CALicious started the season but disbanded and did not finish. Each team was granted a forfeit win for the week they were scheduled to play CALicious.
Several new teams were brought into Club Conflict in Season 11 including The Sundry Lot team RAWR !, Beetlesmod regulars team PEW PEW [2P], Better With Age Gaming team -=BWA=-, and Beetlesmod regulars Pwned*, and Beetlesmod regulars team BOW' CHIKA' WOW' WOW'. {US}East fielded (3) teams in Season 11 and paid for it, with only one team, {US}[kAmpd], making it into the playoffs.
The playoffs were awesome with each team demonstrating the skill that got them there. The finals match was between |PLA| and RAWR ! |PLA| started out as CT on de_cpl_mill and won the first 5 rounds leading 5-0. RAWR ! then went on to pull off a comeback worthy of any in Club Conflict history! They managed to put together a series of wins to win the 1st half 7-8. Stunned, |PLA| would not win another round as RAWR ! rolled off with an impressive 8-0 second half to win the Championship 16-7!
